For men who lead well, and sense the next chapter requires a different kind of man.

Threshold is not a retreat.

It is a deliberate crossing. A 72-hour structured experience for high-capacity executives who have built something real and are navigating a question their title doesn't help them answer. Where organizational leadership meets the interior life, in a setting that earns honesty. Many of the best leaders in any room have optimized hard for outcomes that no longer fully satisfy them. They are not failing. They are misaligned. The gap between who they are as a leader and who they are as a man has been widening quietly. They know it.They don't need another conference. They need space. Physically removed. Communally honest. Expertly facilitated. They need to hear what the noise of performance has drowned out.

this is for you if...

"I've built a career and a life that work. I'm not sure either of them is what I actually want."

"My kids get the tired version of me. My team gets the sharp one. Not sure when that started."

The Weekend

01 — Interruption

Thursday evening. You arrive at Valinor, settle in, and share a meal. No agenda overload. The 36 acres do their first work. This is where individuals become a group, before anyone's asked to go deep.

02 — Honest Naming

Friday. A facilitated session on identity and leadership — love over fear, action, transformation versus transaction. Surf or stand-up paddleboarding in the afternoon. Fireside conversation at night.

03 — Reorientation

Saturday. Two facilitated sessions going deeper into identity, formation, and what legacy actually requires.. A wine country afternoon designed for the kind of conversation that doesn't happen in a session room.

04 — Recommitment

Sunday morning. Each man leaves with a blueprint, not a summary. One leadership decision. One named pattern. One 90-day intention. Spoken aloud to the cohort before you're on the road by noon.

The Team

Geoff Carlston

Former Division I head volleyball coach at Ohio State, Geoff brings a performance psychology lens that this audience immediately recognizes. He has coached elite athletes through pressure, identity, and the gap between talent and character, which maps directly onto the executive experience. His presence in the room creates a pairing that is rare: where performance culture and formation work occupy the same space.

Aaron Marshall, PHD

Executive advisor, published author, and leadership coach with doctoral work in formation, identity, and organizational culture. Aaron brings interior work to the language of executive leadership, without losing the depth of either. He has operated at the level these men operate at, and gone further inward than most.
